ABOUT THE SHOW (SPANISH VERSION)
Austin audiences are invited to laugh, sing, and reflect with Sincera-Miente: YO, a jukebox dramedy that weaves well-known Spanish-language hits into the story and invites audiences to sing along with the actors, combining the intimacy of live theater, the spontaneity of comedy, and the energy of a concert.
This production is presented by Central Drama in partnership with Austin-Lima Sister Cities and is performed entirely in Spanish.
Set on the final night of a local bar that is about to close its doors, a group of friends gathers without imagining that, before the evening is over, everything they have avoided saying to one another for years will finally come to the surface.
Through uncomfortable revelations, music, and unexpected confrontations, each of them is pushed to speak their truth—even if they are not ready to hear the truth from others.
